2. Photosynthesis’s will likely save our bacon as new techniques are used to capture carbon by oceangoing green plants that sink when they die. It is very effective and is the Fossil in fossil fuels.

3. Population is already decreasing. In major markets women are below the 2.1 children needed to keep population at current levels.

4. Earth's carrying capacity is about 10 billion people according to meta studies by the UN and others. Population decline is not to be feared but welcomed.

5. AI will probably have a lot to do with maintaining the worker status quo as population declines seriously later in tthis century.

6. We do have a real problem with capitalism and getting the big corporations to take climate change seriously, because, hey, there’s profit involved.

7. Recent developments including the rise of renewables and the decline of the internal combustion engine tell me the corporations are trying to manage the decline in fossil fuels.

It might even work.
