What Hamas did was despicable. Brutal. Barbaric. Unjustified...That said we’re just repeating a cycle that started in 1948. If we want this to stop, and we do, we must get to root causes and own the fact that the land of Israel is stolen from the people who are locked behind fences in what used to be their land. For the moment a healthy dose of defense is in order but when things calm down we need to deal with root causes.
