Groucho once said: “Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flys like a banana.” Time only goes in one direction and we reached a human population of 1 billion in 1804. Too late to go back to the plow, hunting, and gathering. But the situation is not dire. The problem with technology isn’t that it is an all you can eat bufffet. It is that we try to eat the whole thing. A little discretion would be great but hard to come by because so much tech today tugs on our heartstrings. Gotta wise up and consider prudent regulation.

Used to write a lot more about science, tech, econ, politics etc. I spend my time reading and painting with exercise for good measure. Looking for more.
