Good stuff. Not saying you are wrong though but...Most aluminum comes from bauxite which is electro-mined from seawater, an energy dense activity comparable to drying Li electrodes. However there's a lot of Al out there so mining has already been done. You might consider batteries as a weigh station on the road to the future. Consider electrified roads that give power to cars as they drive. Not all roads, just the major ones. Geothermal power plants can easily be developed along the major roadways. For the rest we could have small batteries that get us to the home charger. Lastly, there has, for many years, been a trade-in and redemption facility for lead-acid car batteries. Virtually all of them get recycled and it is reasonable to expect that new laws would bring rechargeable batteries into the mix.
