The idea people in democracies never get in an election is that they’re hiring a manager. Managers make the existing structure work and good ones make those structures work well for the most people. Applying this lens to the current campaign we see a buffoon who went bankrupt 4 times, was impeached twice, and runs afoul of the law almost at will. He has to self-management skills whatsoever. Not one you want to give the keys to the Treasury to. On the other side, we see someone who has successfully climbed the ladder professionally, economically, and educationally; someone who knows how to set and achieve goals in the organizations she has led. These are the real skills we talk about bringing to the kitchen table, and they are the skills needed to run the greatest country in the world.
